Affirmative to Negative এর কিছু নিয়ম

Transformation of Sentences: Affirmative to Negative এর সহজ কিছু নিয়মাবলি নিম্নে দেয়া হল।

Rule-01: 

➡️Am, is, are, was, were. shall, should, will, would, may. might, can, could, must, used to, ought to -যুক্ত Affirmative Sentence কে Negative করার সময় এদের পরে not বসে । বাকি অংশ অপরিবর্তিত থাকে।

• Affir: He is present in the meeting.
• Neg: He is not (isn’t) present in the meeting.

 

• Affir: They can do the work.
• Neg: They can not (can’t) do the work.

 

Rule-02:

➡️Principal verb হিসাবে ব্যবহৃত to have যুক্ত Affirmatives Sentence-কে Negative করার নিয়ম-

গঠন: Subject+have/has/had+not/no+ প্রদত্ত Sentence-এর বাকি অংশ।

• Affir: I have a pen.
• Neg: I have not (haven’t) a pen.

 

• Affir: I had a book.
• Neg: I had not (hadn’t) a book.

➡️American পদ্ধতিতে উভয় ক্ষেত্রে Affirmative Sentence কে Negative করার নিয়ম: 

গঠন: Subject+ do not (don’t)/ does not (doesn’t) did not (didn’t)+have+প্রদত্ত Sentence-এর বাকি অংশ।

• Affir: I have many books.
• Neg: I have not (hadn’t) many books.

 

• Affir: I had a cat.
• Neg: I did not (didn’t) have a cat.

 

 

Rule-03:

➡️Present Indefinite Tense যুক্ত Auxiliary verb বিহীন Affirmative Sentence কে Negative করার নিয়ম:

গঠন: Subject+do not (don’t) does not (doesn’t) মুল verb-এর Present form+এর বাকি অংশ।

• Affir: We play cricket.
• Neg: We do not (don’t) play cricket.

 

• Affir: He plays golf.
• Neg: He does not (doesn’t) play golf.

Rule-04: 

➡️Auxiliary verb বিহীন Past Indefinite Tense যুক্ত Affirmatives Sentence কে Negative করার নিয়ম:

গঠন: Subject+ did not / didn’t + প্রদত্ত verb এর Present form+ বাকি অংশ ।

• Neg: He did not (didn’t) play cricket.
• Affirmative: He played cricket in the field
